Shine for Seniors began in 2025 with a simple Valentine’s Day card drive for local senior citizens. We quickly realized how meaningful this work was - not only for the seniors we served, but for our volunteers as well. Seeing the joy and connection created through such small acts inspired us to continue working with local senior living facilities and expand our efforts to reach even more seniors in need of companionship and support.

Hi everyone! I'm Renee, president and cofounder of Shine for Seniors. I'm dedicated to brightening the lives of senior citizens through meaningful connections, support, and servide. By overseeing SFS's programs, I know we can grow our organization's impact on our community!

Hey! I'm Ayati, vice president of Shine for Seniors. I am deeply committed to empowering senior-citizens with dignity and joy :). I believe we can create lasting change in communities to improve their lives!

Manasvi Komaragiri
Hello! I'm Manasvi, treasurer and cofounder of Shine for Seniors. I love being a part of this organization because I like helping senior citizens and giving them joy and companionship. As treasurer, I keep record of all the money and donations we recieve and give. I'm dedicated to keeping SFS organized and fun for all volunteers!
